Anna Hite
Anna Hite (she/they) is an artist born and raised in Mississippi who is currently in the MFA program at the University of Mississippi with an emphasis in Printmaking. She is interested in exploring process within printmaking as well as examining the confines of what can be considered a print in conceptual terms. She has a wide range of interests, from examining the sociopolitical world and how we digest sensationalism in news media, to consumption and physical and mental health, to fantasy genres and their relations to real-world issues. She hopes to utilize the skills learned in her practice to allow her to become an instructor herself. She also is the proud parent of a very opinionated cat, Balgheera.
